Craig Innes

I am a founding director of Esportif International NZ Limited, a company I formed with Bruce Sharrock in 2001 which was then acquired by Wasserman in 2022. As a result of having played as a professional sportsman for over a twelve year period in both rugby codes I pride myself on being able to identify directly with our clients and have a clear understanding of what is required to pursue and succeed in rugby as a career option. During my time as a professional footballer I identified the need for young athletes to surround themselves with good people and sound advice, these being the two key elements that drove me to enter the sports management industry.

I have a wealth of local industry knowledge as well as vast experience within the international rugby market. I travel to Japan regularly to maintain contact with our clients, the close-knit Rugby community of corporate teams and their management as I do for our colleagues in the UK, France and other major markets.
